Frequently Asked Questions

What data does Extensiv Integration Manager pass between systems?

Integration Manager passes order data, shipment data, and inventory data between your order sources and your order destinations. In sequential order, the Integration Manager retrieves orders from each shopping cart, standardizes them to a single format, and delivers the orders to the order destination. The integration Manager then retrieves tracking information from the order destination and uploads this information to the original order source. Inventory is then pulled from the order destination for the item sold and updated to all order sources offering that item for sale.

How many orders per month do I get with my plan?

All our Integration Manager plans allow unlimited order volume. Unlike other services, we won’t ever force you to pay more because you had a good month.

More information about what is included with our Integration Manager plans can be found here.

How much time does it take to connect a new order source?

You can connect to most shopping carts, marketplaces, and flash sale sites in just minutes. EDI connections require assisted setups and will take a bit longer.

Can Extensiv Integration Manager handle inventory over all my sales channels?

Yes, Integration Manager can sync your inventory across all sales channels. If you have 100 red hats in stock, we can tell all your stores that 100 are in stock and keep them all updated whenever inventory levels change, regardless of where those changes occur.

Does Extensiv Integration Manager upload tracking information?

Yes. If the shopping cart or sales channel supports tracking information, Integration Manager will upload tracking to them.

How often does Extensiv Integration Manager access my orders?

Some shopping carts send us real-time order information, but otherwise, we check every 15 minutes. You can also set Integration Manager to check less often. If you need to check more frequently, contact Technical Support.

Does Extensiv Integration Manager offer address verification or correction?

Yes, Integration Manager offers optional Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) certified address verification and correction of shipping and billing addresses.

Can I connect to two different channels/carts of the same type (e.g., two different BigCommerce carts)?

Yes. You can have as many interfaces as you want or need to the same cart or channel. Each one counts as a separate order source.

It is great that Extensiv Integration Manager supports so many sales channels. What if I want to send orders to a WMS that is not built by Extensiv?

In addition to integrating to 100+ order sources (carts and marketplaces), Integration Manager integrates to more than 80 order destinations, which are typically warehouse or order management systems. Integration Manager treats all order destinations equally, regardless of who built them.

What if my software is not supported by Extensiv Integration Manager?

In cases where a software provider is not supported by Integration Manager, partners are welcome and encouraged to utilize the Integration Manager APIs to build support for their platform.
